Nuvbook makes getting paid simple, flexible, and secure. Accept payments in the way that works best for you and your clients.

5.1 Connecting Payment Providers

Nuvbook integrates with leading payment providers. To get set up:

Go to Settings > Payments.
Connect your Stripe account for card payments and online transactions.
Connect your Stax account for card payments and online transactions.
Connect your PayPal account as an additional payment option.
Enable cash payments if you accept in-person cash transactions.
Enable Buy Now, Pay Later payments to offer flexible payment options to your customers.

💡 Tip: You'll need an existing Stripe or PayPal account. Setup takes just a few minutes.

Nuvbook supports a wide range of payment options:

Online card payments via Stripe and PayPal.
Tap to Pay to accept contactless payments directly from your phone, no extra hardware needed.
Card on file to charge a client's saved card with their permission.
Send a payment link via text or email for remote payments.
In-person cash payments.

Reduce no-shows by requiring a deposit at the time of booking:

Go to Payments > Booking Payment Integration and enable deposits for individual services.
Set the deposit amount (fixed or percentage of the service price).
Clients will be prompted to pay the deposit when booking online.
The remaining balance can be collected at the time of the appointment.

💡 Tip: Requiring deposits has been shown to reduce no-shows by over 90%.

💡 Tip: Enable tips to collect tips as one payment offer from customers.

Give clients more flexibility with BNPL options:

Nuvbook supports Afterpay and Klarna, allowing clients to split payments into installments.
You get paid in full instantly and the BNPL provider handles the installment collection.
BNPL is built into your booking flow with no extra setup or cost to you.

Get access to your earnings quickly:

Track your earnings in real time from the Analytics section of your dashboard:

View total revenue, transactions, and outstanding balances.
Filter by date range, service, appointment date, status of appointment, payment status or staff member.
Export reports for accounting or tax purposes. Coming soon!
